Inside the Palace by Kevineastman Inside the Palace by Kevineastman
One of my favorites in the series, mainly acrylics, prisma pencils, and a little airbrush!

My favorite turtle has always been Donatello. Favorite color, he uses the weapon that I stopped learning karate at, he's a tech whiz...

Yeah. GO DONNY!

I've always liked Renet. She's the embodiment of what most of us would be if they could travel through time, regardless of the dangers.

I don't expect Kevin to answer this, but maybe somebody else will--was this story ever adapted in the cartoon? Obviously Cerebus wasn't there, but was it adapted otherwise?

It was done in the 2003 version. It couldn't have Cerebus (for the obvious reasons,) but it had Renet, Simultaneous, and Savanti Romero.

When exactly did you guys start doing the Turtles with their own individually colored masks? And what inspired the colors? I remember browsing through some of the older comics YEARS ago. Wish I'd had the money them to buy them. And I wish I knew what had happened to the ones that I DO - or rather, DID, have.

*Sighs*

Moving can be such a pain....

The cartoons are responsible for the individual colored masks as an attempt to make each one indivually identifiable.

It was. I remember watching it.

And if I recall... I've seen some scans of the original TMNT comics.... didn't that series somewhat follow the original storyline much more closely?

That's Cerebus. He had his own comic book series for years, and this was an early crossover idea (issue 8 of the original TMNT series).
